My 1st Paper Cutting, "Home Is Where The Heart Is"...

I am SO excited!!! I have completed my first paper-cutting, and it is available only here for all to see! I call it, "Home Is Where The Heart Is." It may not be as professional looking as others, but it is my first, after all. I dedicate this one to my hubby... Our initials are on one of the trees, so it is a personal "cutted" love note to him. :-)

  3. Wow, that is beautiful. I got your update on your mypace and it brought me to over here to see it. Good job. did you cut any fingers with your small exacto knife? Did you trace a pattern or do it freehand? I did the snowflakes which is similiar to paper cutting right? :) That took so much time but worth it. :) Love you cousin. I'm off to bed. I'm so relieved we filled out an application form for a school for R.

  4. I drew it on paper, made sure I had a border to attach everything in one -way -or- another to, and then began slowly cutting away. I am not sure exactly how others do it, but that is how I did it. And, I have been doing well with the xacto knife, no mishaps to my flesh only to the paper. And I did break one tip off by mistake. oops.
